The Felipe pastoral couple
This ministry was born through the Felipe pastoral couple. By God's grace, Pastor José Carlos Felipe and Gisele Felipe have been guided through the years with wisdom, perseverance and love for the work of the Lord.
As seasoned servants in the Lord's work, they help guard the unity of the vision, form leadership and sustain the ministry's growth in every country where God opens a way.
A summary of the Felipe couple's pastoral journey, from ministerial consecration to the beginning of the Eufrisia congregation in Portugal.
In 1996, Pastor José Carlos Felipe was consecrated to pastoral ministry, publicly embracing a calling marked by service, the Word and spiritual care for people.

In 1997, he married Gisele Felipe. This marriage covenant also became a partnership of faith, family and ministry, sustaining important decisions throughout their pastoral journey.

In 2004, the couple went on mission to India, serving in a cross-cultural context and learning to recognise God's work among very different peoples, languages and needs.
That season deepened the missionary vision that now shapes Mission Eufrisia: a church that proclaims Christ, makes disciples and serves every culture with sensitivity and biblical faithfulness.

In 2015, after years of missionary service, the couple returned to Brazil for a season of reorganisation, family fellowship and discernment about their next ministry steps.

In 2016, believing in God's direction, they were sent to Portugal. The move opened a new season of obedience, cultural adaptation and pastoral service on European soil.

In 2017, the Eufrisia congregation began in Portugal, through simple steps, constant prayer and the desire to form a local community committed to Christ, families and mission.
From that beginning, the founders' personal story began walking alongside the story of Mission Eufrisia and the formation of the local churches that now make up the ministry.

Four local churches, cared for by pastoral couples who know the people and context they serve.
